Campus Pantry Donation Drop Off

A green Field and Fork Pantry bin decorated like an alligator with two signs for donation drop offs and pantry wishlist on either side.

The mission of the Hitchcock Field & Fork Pantry is to build a more food secure campus by providing safe, wholesome food to the UF campus community. In order to reduce food waste and support those experiencing food insecurity, the Pantry collects and redistributes non-perishable food and hygiene products.

In support of this program, Library West hosts a secondary drop-off location where items can be donated.

Where is the Library West donation drop-off located?

Our green donation bins can be found next to the Circulation Desk on the 2nd floor of Library West. Donations are accepted any hours that Library West is open.

What donations are accepted?

The Pantry is looking for basic staples such as grains, proteins, snacks, EZ prep meals, canned or jarred fruits and vegetables, and hygiene products. Any non-perishable items that are unopened, unexpired, and undamaged can be placed in these bins. For a detailed wish list, please see the Field and Fork Pantry website or contact them at (352) 294-3601.

Who can use the Pantry?

The Hitchcock Field & Fork Pantry is a free resource to all members of the University of Florida community. There is no proof-of-need required to shop at the Pantry, but please bring your physical Gator 1 Card when you visit.

The Pantry is located across from the Hub at 564 Newell Dr, Gainesville, FL 32603, and hours are posted on their website.
